Manage all aspects of project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery including:

• All project reporting required for VNS FS Technology Deployment group and FS Management
• Develop detailed project plans, work plans, schedule, resource plans, and status reports
• Identification of project risks, differentiate between technical and business risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and support organizations (contract management, legal, procurement, etc.)
• Building and maintain relationships with customers through direct communications, written and verbal

Planning:

• Defining and clarifying project scope
• Develop project plans
• Develop project schedules
• Identify need for updated procedures or policies to achieve project objectives

Organizing:

• Determine the organizational structure of the project team
• Identify roles and positions
• Identify services to be provided by subcontractors and partners
• Identify resource and staffing needs

Leading:

• Setting team direction
• Coordinating activities across difference organizational functions
• Assign and oversee completion of tasks by project team

Controlling:

• Measuring and checking project progress toward defined objectives
• Reporting to management on project progress (technical and financial)
• Evaluate and determine cause(s) of deviations from baseline plan
• Develop recovery plans (informal and formal) to ensure corrective actions are implemented

Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager may be delegated to extent approved by Program Director.

Accountabilities:

Senior Project Manager is accountable for all project performance.  Tasks can be delegated but ultimate accountability to management and Veolia will not be delegated.

Education & Certifications:

• BS degree in engineering or technical field
• PMP is preferred

Experience & Requirements:

• 10+ years of project management experience (proficient in developing schedules, budgets, reporting, team leadership, and risk management)
• Nuclear experience is preferred
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects through full lifecycle (design, procurement, field deployment, and closure) is strongly preferred
• Experience in equipment deployment and operations is desired
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Familiarity with the Google environment (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) is preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 is preferred
• Must have excellent written and oral communications skills as well as excellent computer skills that are relevant to job applications.
