Planning:
- Defining and clarifying project scope
- Develop project plans
- Develop project schedules
- Identify need for updated procedures or policies to achieve project objectives
Organizing:
- Determine the organizational structure of the project team
- Identify roles and positions
- Identify services to be provided by subcontractors and partners
- Identify resource and staffing needs
Leading:
- Setting team direction
- Coordinating activities across difference organizational functions
- Assign and oversee completion of tasks by project team
Controlling:
- Measuring and checking project progress toward defined objectives
- Reporting to management on project progress (technical and financial)
- Evaluate and determine cause(s) of deviations from baseline plan
- Develop recovery plans (informal and formal) to ensure corrective actions are implemented
Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager may be delegated to extent approved by Program Director.
Accountabilities:
Senior Project Manager is accountable for all project performance. Tasks can be delegated but ultimate accountability to management and Veolia will not be delegated.
