Our team is seeking a Junior Designer to provide support in the following areas:
Under the direction of Sr Designers and engineering staff, produce AutoCAD drawings, Solid Works models, perform drawing changes, and perform field walk-downs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update design drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of design and field changes (e.g. Design Change Notices (DCNs)/Facility Modification Packages (FMPs)) to project drawings during construction
  • Perform field walk downs in preparation of as-built drawings.
  • Interface with design team to resolve design issues/comments

Accountabilities:

  • Accountable to the design lead for project deliverables
  • Interacts with coworkers.
  • Compliance with policies and procedures during course of executing job tasks

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Enrolled in AA drafting program, engineering program, or equivalent training & experience is preferred

Experience & Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency with 2D drafting and 3D parametric solid modeling software (AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS)
  • Experience with REVIT is preferred by not required
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software is preferred by not required
  • Experience with system or component operations and maintenance is preferred but not required
  • GPA will be a factor for applicants currently enrolled in an engineering program
